The International Rescue Committee warned of an increase in the number of people in need of help in Afghanistan

The International Rescue Committee says that about 30 million people in Afghanistan are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
This committee said in a statement that after the fall of the previous Afghan government, about 30 million people are in urgent need of humanitarian aid, and the lack of funds has made it difficult to provide this amount of aid.
The statement of the International Rescue Committee states: “The reduction of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan has caused a 60% increase in the number of people in need of aid. This humanitarian crisis continues to be accompanied by economic challenges, climate change and reduced access to basic services.
Earlier, the World Food Organization also announced that it does not have enough money to meet the immediate needs of 8 million hungry people in Afghanistan.
This organization added that they are currently taking food from the hungry to feed other hungry people.
