A traffic accident in Balkh killed 7 people

Balkh Public Health Department officials say that 9 people were killed and injured following a traffic accident on the Balkh-Jawzjan highway.

Khairullah Khairkhah, the spokesperson of the Public Health Department of Balkh, says that this incident occurred after a Corolla type car collided with a Sarache type car in Chaharbulak district of this province.

According to him, as a result of this incident, 7 people, including women and children, died, and two others were wounded and taken to the hospital.

It should be noted that recently the occurrence of traffic accidents has increased in most provinces of Afghanistan, and the authorities attribute the reason to the damaged roads and carelessness of drivers.
