An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 on the Richter scale shook Japan
Japanese media reported that a 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit the center of the country on Monday afternoon.
According to the US Seismological Center, this earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km in the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture around 4:00 a.m. Japan time.
The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning after the earthquake in the western coastal areas of the country.
Japanese media have reported that as a result of this earthquake dozens of people died and 100 others were injured.
