Relief shipments for the flood victims of Ghor reached the city of Firouz Koh

After three days of deadly floods in the center and several districts of Ghor, the local authorities of the Islamic Emirate in this province announced the arrival of aid shipments.

The Security Command of the Islamic Emirate in Ghor has published a newsletter saying that this morning (Monday, 31 Thor) several flights carrying aid cargoes have landed at Sultan Ghiyasuddin Ghori Airport in Firuzkoh city.

The news release states that these aids include emergency shelter, medicine, food and clothes.

According to the news report, five flights carrying delegations and aid had arrived at the center of Ghor yesterday.

The newsletter added that several more flights carrying emergency aid will be made from Kabul and Herat provinces to Ghor today.

As a result of the floods in the last three days in the center and several districts of Ghor, at least 50 people have died and thousands of houses have been completely destroyed.
