84% increase in trade between Afghanistan and Iran

Hossein Roustaei, commercial advisor to the Iranian embassy in Afghanistan, said that the volume of trade between the two countries has increased by 84 percent.

According to Iranian media reports, he estimated the volume of trade between Iran and Afghanistan last year at $3.19 billion.

Light oils and petroleum products, petroleum gases, iron and steel, polyethylene compounds, natural gas and some other items were among the goods exported by Iran to Afghanistan.
