Fire in Kabul; tens of oil tankers burned
Security officials say a fire broke out in the Karizmir area north of Kabul on Saturday night.
Tariq Arian; Kabul police spokesman said the fire broke out at around 9:05 a.m. Saturday (May 1) in the Karizmir area of Kabul’s 17th district.
According to Mr. Arian, in this incident, first an oil tanker caught fire and then this fire spread and as a result, several oil tankers and tens of vehicles were burned.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses say that more than 50 oil tankers, dozens of vehicles were burned and some houses and shops around it were damaged.
The exact casualties of the fire are not yet known, but it is said that more than 4 bodies were found in the area where the fire took place.
the country’s power distributor, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) also said that after the fire, the 220 kV line of imported electricity was cut off and a team was sent to solve this problem.
