Mohajer Farahi: Pakistan Trying to Question Islamic Emirate’s Achievements

Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, said in response to Pakistan’s military airstrikes on Afghanistan that Islamabad is attempting to undermine the achievements and activities of the Islamic Emirate.

Speaking at a journalists’ capacity-building seminar in Parwan province, Mohajer Farahi stressed that the Islamic Emirate would respond to Pakistan’s attacks at an appropriate time.

Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi said: “The Islamic Emirate is committed to responding, at an appropriate time and in line with its capabilities, to any aggressor that violates our country’s territorial integrity and disrupts the activities of the Islamic Emirate.”

Parwan Governor Azizur Rahman Mansour said: “Under democracy, a country is recognized if its banks operate on interest, because they know that if interest is prohibited, Muslims will make progress.”

Mohajer Farahi also said efforts are underway to address the challenges facing the country’s media.

According to him, proposals have been submitted to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to reduce the burden of electricity costs, taxes, and frequency-related fees, and these issues are expected to be reviewed and resolved soon.

Mohajer Farahi added: “We are working to address the problems facing the media.”

Meanwhile, the organizers of the seminar said its aim was to enhance journalists’ professional capacity and strengthen the country’s media community. They also emphasized the importance of professional training for journalists.

Safiullah Raed, Director of Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, said: “I hope this seminar will serve as an important step toward intellectual development, strengthening ideological beliefs, and advancing professional skills.”

The one-day seminar was attended by nearly 250 journalists and media enthusiasts from Parwan province.
