The Afghan delegation met with the President of the United States

The delegation of Afghanistan met with the President of the United States of America in the White House yesterday afternoon (Friday, June 24) at Washington time.

Dr. Abdullah, Chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council, wrote on his Facebook page that during the meeting, President Biden assured the continuation of US assistance and support to Afghanistan in the new chapter of relations between the two countries and stressed that the US troops withdraw from Afghanistan, does not mean the end of cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries.

This was the official visit of President Ghani at the head of a high-level delegation at the official invitation of the President of the United States.
