General McKenzie: The United States will continue air strikes in support of the security forces

The commander of the United States Central Command, Gen. McKinsey, said today in a meeting with Bismillah Mahmoudi, the acting Secretary of Defense, that the United States will continue to carry out air strikes in support of the security forces.
The commander of the US Central Command has emphasized that the United States will continue to assist and cooperate with the defense and security forces and the air force.
A few days ago, the United States targeted Taliban positions in various parts of Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said the attacks were in support of the Afghan Defense Forces.
But the Taliban have said in a statement that the US attacks will not go unanswered.
