In the past 24 hours, 209 Taliban fighters have been killed in various parts of the country

The Ministry of Defense reports that 209 Taliban fighters have been killed in the past 24 hours during operations by security forces in different parts of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that 209 Taliban fighters were killed and 129 others were wounded in operations by defense and security forces.

According to the ministry,the Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Logar, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Farah, Herat, Balkh, Helmand, Kunduz, Baghlan and Kapisa provinces.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
