Erdogan: Turkey has been among the countries that have added the most cultural value to UNESCO since 2008

The Turkish president has said that Turkey has been among the countries that have added the most cultural value to UNESCO since 2008.
The statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a ceremony at the “Living Human Treasures, Representatives of Heritage for the Future” awards ceremony held yesterday at the Beştepe Mellat Congress and Culture Center in the capital Ankara.
Recalling that Turkey entered into the Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention adopted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2003, Erdogan said: “Turkey has been among the countries with the highest cultural value since 2008.” Has been added to this list.
“In the coming period, we will ensure that the talents of our masters and craftsmen, who are the result of hundreds of years of experience, are kept alive,” he said.
Recalling that the number of Turkish assets on the Intangible Cultural Heritage List has increased to 21, President Erdogan stressed the importance of unity and solidarity in achievements.
