Taliban to the citizens of the country: Voluntarily hand over government weapons and equipment to the government

A Taliban spokesman said that if citizens had weapons, government vehicles or illegal goods with them, they should voluntarily deliver to Taliban forces before the forces search their homes.
Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of information and culture and a Taliban spokesman, said in a statement that the group forces had launched a clean-up operation in Kabul and nearby provinces to prevent the activities of thieves, kidnappers and criminals.
He said that as a result of these operations, dozens of government vehicles, ammunition and a number of illegal goods were seized by the forces of the Islamic Emirate, and dozens of people were arrested by the forces for abduction and various crimes.
In this statement, Mujahid called on the citizens of the country to cooperate with the forces of the Islamic Emirate if they have information about criminals, and to voluntarily surrender to the forces of the Islamic Emirate if they have weapons, government vehicles and illegal goods.
Meanwhile, Taliban forces have been conducting house-to-house searchs in Kabul and some provinces for several days.
Taliban officials have said the operation is aimed at providing more security in Kabul and the provinces.
