Rising dollar against Afghani: The price of one dollar reached 90 Afghanis

Officials of the Money Exchange Center of the country announced the exchange rate of the dollar against the Afghani and say that today one dollar has been exchanged for 90 Afghanis.
Abdul Rahman Zirak, a spokesman for the Money Exchange Center had confirmed the increase in the value of the dollar against the Afghani, adding that the dollar price in the market was changing arbitrarily.
According to a spokesman for the Money Changers’ Exchange Center, following the closure of all money changers due to problems in obtaining a license from the Taliban government, this morning the group opened the gates of the Kabul Exchange Center by force, but he added that despite The center’s gate is open, the shops are closed and the money changers are not present.
The National Union of Money Changers and Monetary Services of Afghanistan announced yesterday that due to problems in obtaining licenses from the government, all money changers in the country will close their shops and stop their activities until this problem is solved.
The resolution issued by the union reads: “We have raised our problems for the Economic Commission of the Islamic Emirate and until we solve the problems of money changers in terms of corporate licenses, we will close our shops and stop all our activities and trade until the problems are solved.”
The resolution emphasizes that this decision is not against the Islamic Emirate and was taken out of coercion.
