Islamic Emirate Launches First Rapid DNA Identification System

The Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate has announced the activation and launch of the country’s first Rapid DNA Identification System at the Biological and DNA Laboratory Management of the Criminal Technical Directorate.

Officials at the ministry say the use of advanced technologies will improve public services and enable more effective responses to people’s needs.

Rahmatullah Najib Haji, the ministry’s administrative deputy, said: “There is sincerity here, and these Mujahideen were able to activate this system through their own capabilities. If we work with the same spirit and dedication in other sectors, God willing, many more challenges will be overcome.”

Abdul Rahim Saqib, the ministry’s senior adviser, added: “This system is of particular importance for identifying criminals and conducting scientific analyses in judicial and legal investigations. It will enable more accurate identification of offenders in criminal cases.”

Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of the Administrative Office, described the launch as a major achievement, saying the technology would strengthen criminal investigations by providing scientific evidence and play an effective role in ensuring justice.

He said: “This is not an ordinary system; it is a significant and impactful step. With its launch, many crimes and security threats will be reduced, and identifying perpetrators will become easier. This technology will contribute to the administration of justice by supporting both victims and the identification of offenders.”

Abdul Matin Qani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, said: “This system will serve as a warning to criminals. By utilizing technical and professional teams, our police forces will have greater capacity to detect and investigate crimes, identify suspects, and make timely arrests. This will play an effective role in reducing crime.”

According to officials at the Ministry of Interior, the Rapid DNA Identification System will enhance the accuracy of criminal investigations, improve the identification of offenders, help exonerate innocent individuals, and provide reliable scientific evidence to judicial and legal authorities. They say the system represents an important step toward strengthening the country’s technical capabilities and improving the administration of justice.
