Islamic Emirate Leader: Intelligence Must Thwart All Subversive Plots

The leader of the Islamic Emirate has called on the General Directorate of Intelligence to thwart any subversive plans targeting the Islamic Emirate.

In a seminar held for intelligence officials, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada referred to the intelligence agency as “the backbone of the Islamic system” and stressed the importance of implementing Sharia law and shaping public awareness.

The leader of the Islamic Emirate also emphasized the need for kindness and compassion in dealing with the people.

Hamudullah Fitrat, deputy spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, stated: “His Excellency Amir al-Mu’minin, may Allah protect him, elaborated on the value, importance, and duties of the intelligence agency within the Islamic system, describing it as the backbone of governance. He also said that the intelligence services are tasked with neutralizing all intellectual and subversive plans, both overt and covert, designed and intended to be executed by enemies of the Islamic system.”

Meanwhile, the acting foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, during the graduation ceremony of the fourth round of the ministry’s diplomatic institute, emphasized the importance of protecting the country from internal and external threats and called national unity a top priority.

Muttaqi stated that the Islamic Emirate is working to develop both foreign and domestic policies based on national interests.
He added: “We are trying to shape our engagement both domestically and internationally in a way that benefits the country and ensures that no one inside the country feels alienated.”

Ghulam Mohammaduddin Mohammadi, a political analyst, said: “Afghans, whether inside or outside the country, must have their voices heard. Additionally, individuals who are committed to the people and the land of Afghanistan and possess professional expertise should be included in the system.”

Yesterday, the acting foreign minister, in a trilateral meeting with the special envoys of China and Pakistan, described Kabul’s political and economic relations with Islamabad and Beijing as important and expressed hope for further progress with these relations.
