Pakistan’s ambassador to Ankara: Afghanistan is facing the worst humanitarian crisis

Pakistan’s ambassador to Ankara says Afghanistan is going through the worst humanitarian crisis and the world should come to its aid.

“Many factors affect the lives of the Afghan people, and the world public opinion must act quickly and in coordination to alleviate the suffering of the Afghan people,” said Sirus Sajjad Ghazi, Pakistan’s ambassador to Ankara, in an interview with Anatolia News Agency.

The judge said that the 17th extraordinary meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will be held in Islamabad, and that the purpose of the meeting is to draw the world’s attention to the Afghan crisis.

Describing Turkish-Pakistani relations as “the best bilateral relations in the world that are not geographically neighboring”, the Pakistani ambassador added: “Ankara and Islamabad are working on developing trade relations that are expected to find ways. “New exports and imports between the two countries will gain new momentum.”

“The defense sector is also an important pillar of Ankara-Islamabad relations,” he said, noting that annual trade between Turkey and Pakistan has reached about $ 1 billion. “Cooperation between the two countries is not limited.”
