The Japanese ambassador to Iran announced his country’s efforts to support Afghan refugees

Japan’s ambassador to Iran says his country is working to develop more and more cooperation to support Afghan refugees.
During his visit to Khorasan Razavi and the city of Torbat-e-Jam, the Japanese Ambassador Kazuo Toshi Ikawa to Iran, visited the Iran-Afghan border, as well as the accommodation of Afghan refugees.
“Given the recent developments in Afghanistan, we will work to develop more and more cooperation to support Afghan refugees,” he said.
“The Japanese government has provided Iran with about 3 million doses of the new vaccine, part of which has been given to Afghan refugees,” he said during this visit about the help of his country in the fight against Covid-19.
